Downtown Trolley
The Downtown Trolley's are a fun and convenient
way to get around to downtown South Bend attractions...do
a little shopping...or shuttle off to your favorite restaurants.
No matter where you're staying in the downtown area, the
Trolley is just a few steps away. And the trip is just 25¢.
The Downtown Trolleys are American Heritage
Streetcar "replicas" manufactured
by Optima Bus Corp., and re-create the look and feel of an
authentic, turn-of-the-century streetcar. Seating 28 passengers
comfortably, the Trolley is also fully wheelchair accessible
to accommodate two wheelchair passengers.
The round-trip is only 30 minutes, and during
peak hours two Trolleys are in service, providing no more
than a fifteen-minute wait at your pick up location! So,
catch the fun to your favorite downtown destination, and
ride the Downtown Trolley! Look for the Trolley Map / Schedule
at South Street Station and many other downtown locations.
