Mishawaka School Tripper Information

TRANSPO offers regular fixed route service to many Mishawaka neighborhoods. The following regular fixed routes service Mishawaka:

#1 Madison/Mishawaka
#9 Northside Mishawaka
#11 Southside Mishawaka
#15A UP Mall via Main Street
#15B UP Mall via Grape Road

In addition to these fixed routes, TRANSPO adds the following special routes in the morning and afternoon:

Passengers may need to use a combination of buses to get to and from school. Please refer to the schedules to determine the route that is best for your student. Please call our information line at (574) 233-2131 if you need additional information. The line is answered from 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, and 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturdays.

31-Day passes are sold at John Young Middle School (main office) and Mishawka High School (bookstore). You may also purchase a pass at our Administrative Offices on Lafayette Boulevard in South Bend or at our South Street Station in downtown South Bend. Student passes are $30.00 and are good for unlimited rides for 31 consecutive days. Checks should be made payable to TRANSPO. Passengers may not share bus passes. If this behavior is observed, TRANSPO may revoke the pass. Also, students MUST show their student I.D. when using their student passes on the bus. They will not be able to use their student pass without showing their student I.D to the bus driver.
