Mishawaka School Bus Information

TRANSPO offers regular fixed route service to many Mishawaka neighborhoods. The following regular fixed routes service Mishawaka:

In addition to these fixed routes, TRANSPO adds the following special routes in the morning and afternoon:

Your student may need to use a combination of buses to get to and from school. Please refer to the schedules to determine the route that is best for your student. Regular fixed routes are printed in small schedules. They are available at TRANSPO's Administrative Offices, South Street Station and on our website. Information on the special routes are listed below.

Please call our information line at 574.233.2131 if you need additional information. The line is answered from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

31-Day passes are sold at John Young Middle School (main office) and Mishawaka High School (bookstore). You may also purchase a pass at our Administrative Offices on Northside Boulevard in South Bend or at our South Street Station in downtown South Bend. Student passes are $25.00 and are good for unlimited rides for 31 consecutive days. Checks should be made payable to TRANSPO. Students may not share bus passes. If this behavior is observed, TRANSPO may revoke the pass.

REVEREWOOD / TWIN BRANCH

This bus starts out at Mishawawka Transfer Center at 7:05 a.m. The bus travels as follows:

• South on Union to 12th Street
• East on 12th Street to Blackberry Road
• South on Blackberry Road to Southampton Drive - Arrival Time: 7:20 a.m.
• West on Southampton, curving south around to Stonegate Drive
• East on Stonegate Drive to White Dover Drive
• South on White Dover Drive to Rosemont Place
• West on Rosemont Place to Bennington Drive
• West on Bennington Drive to Harrison Road
• West on Harrison Road to Lexington Boulevard
• South on Lexington Boulevard to Cantondale Lane
• South on Cantondale Lane to Hampton Road
• West on Hampton to Elm Road (Capital Avenue) - Arrival Time: 7:25 a.m.
• North on Elm Road (Capital Avenue) to Lincoln Way East
• East on Lincoln Way East to Oakland Avenue

• West on Omer Avenue to John Young Middle School - Arrival Time: 7:55 a.m.

MILBURN / JOHN YOUNG

This bus starts out at Milburn Boulevard and Ironwood Drive at 7:30 a.m. The bus travels as follows:

• East on Milburn Boulevard to 8th Street
• East on 8th Street to West Street
• South on West Street to 13th Street
• East on 13th Street to Union Street
• North on Union Street to 4th Street
• West on 4th Street to Mishawaka Transfer Center - Arrival Time: 7:45 a.m.
• Mishawaka High School-bound students should transfer to Route 9 outbound
• North on Main Street to John Young Middle School - Arrival Time: 7:55 a.m.

AFTERNOON BUSES

This bus starts out at John Young Middle School and leaves the school at 3:25 p.m. The bus travels as follows:

• South on Main Street to Union Street
• South on Union Street to 13th Street
• West on 13th Street to West Street
• North on West Street to 8th Street
• West on 8th Street / Milburn Boulevard to Ironwood

DOWNTOWN MISHAWAKA

This bus starts out at John Young Middle School and leaves the school at 3:25 p.m. The bus travels as follows:

• South on Main Street to 4th Street
• East on 4th Street to Mishawaka Transfer Center
• At Mishawaka Transfer Center, students transfer to other buses (see individual schedules)
