Blackthorn Express
Take TRANSPO's Blackthorn Express bus service to the Blackthorn Industrial Area, offering convenient commuting to the area's businesses and employers.
The Blackthorn Express differs from TRANSPO's regular fixed-route bus service; this trip features fewer stops along the way resulting in a faster, more efficient commute to work. Traveling north, the express route runs along Lincoln Way West and Bendix Drive until the first stop at Bendix Drive and Lathrop Street, with additional stops throughout the Blackthorn Industrial area.
The Blackthorn Express shuttles feature the same low 75¢ fare as TRANSPO's other fixed-route bus service. Frequent riders will be able to save even more with TRANSPO's 31 Day Pass.
With over 3.3 million passenger trips annually, TRANSPO provides safe, convenient, and affordable service for people needing to get to work and around town. Now more people from all over the community will be able to ride TRANSPO's fixed route buses and the Blackthorn Express to get to their place of employment. The new service will provide a better link between city neighborhoods and expanding industrial areas on the city's outer northwest side. |
